How we rank
Every list on Lawyers Ranked is ordered by one transparent score. Money never changes the order.
Every law firm is ranked on upvotes from clients and profile completeness; Ranked Pro law firms also compete on verified reviews. No one can buy a position.
The method
- 1 Upvotes from clients (45%): one upvote per person, on a diminishing curve so early votes count most.
- 2 Verified reviews (35%): the average rating, blended with a prior of 3.8 over 3 reviews so a single review cannot dominate. Only Ranked Pro law firms collect reviews.
- 3 Profile completeness (20%): description, photos, hours, contact details, location and facilities.
Ordered by Ranked Score: upvotes from clients and profile completeness, plus verified reviews for Ranked Pro law firms. Sponsored placements are always labelled and never change this order.
